Performance characterization system for carbon nanotubes and graphene
With the continuous development of nanotechnology, the performance of carbon nanotubes and graphene is receiving increasing attention from researchers. However, the characterization of the properties of carbon nanotubes and graphene has always been a major obstacle to the research and application of carbon nanotube and graphene technology. At present, the measurement methods for carbon nanotubes and graphene are spectroscopic measurement techniques. Compared to other measurement methods, this technology has the following advantages:
1. High sensitivity, able to accurately measure even low levels of carbon nanotubes and graphene.
2. High measurement accuracy and high (nm) resolution for carbon nanotubes.
3. The sample to be tested has low requirements and can be directly analyzed for samples containing more impurities.
4. The measuring equipment is relatively simple, making it very easy to prepare the sample for testing.
5. The data processing is simple, and the measurement results do not need to consider background subtraction.
For the characterization of carbon nanotubes and graphene, although spectral measurement techniques have great advantages, there are still some problems in the measurement process, such as slow data acquisition speed, low measurement sensitivity, manual data processing being very cumbersome and prone to errors, and so on. A carbon nanotube specific measurement system NS3 has been developed to address these issues, making the NS3 system a carbon nanotube and graphene specific measurement system that can perform absorption, fluorescence, and Raman spectroscopy measurements on carbon nanotubes and graphene.
