Ultra high resolution live cell fluorescence infrared microscopy imaging system
Fluorescence, as the main means of biological specificity recognition, has always played an important role in life sciences. But the substance that needs to be analyzed has fluorescence or can be labeled by fluorescence.
Vibration spectroscopy (IR&Raman) is a mature and unlabeled technology that can directly provide structural information of substances themselves, providing a wide range of characterization capabilities for unlabeled substances such as macromolecules, drugs, materials, liposomes, etc. in life sciences, and has significant potential in life science research.
O-PTIR with submicron and synchronous Raman capabilities overcomes the problems of insufficient resolution in traditional infrared microscopes and severe Mie scattering on uneven surfaces. This extensive characterization of macromolecules can now be carried out at a biologically relevant spatial scale of<500 nm, achieving a resolution matching of infrared, Raman, and fluorescence imaging, and possessing true co localization ability. Now, mIRage LS fully integrates these technologies into one system, requiring only one device to achieve all-round infrared, Raman, and fluorescence signal analysis of samples, obtaining additional information and insights that cannot be obtained by any single technology itself.
