High brightness liquid target X-ray source
Excillum is located in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, and is a company dedicated to the research and production of ultra-high brightness micro focal spot X-ray light sources. After more than ten years of research and development and improvement, Excillum has mastered advanced liquid metal jet (MetalJet) X-ray light source technology, which can bring 10 times the X-ray flux emitted by ordinary solid anode X-ray light sources (on the same focal spot area). Because liquid metal jets can withstand higher power electron beam bombardment, they can achieve higher X-ray flux. The solid metal anode in traditional micro focal spot X-ray generators is being replaced by liquid metal jets!
