The cellZscope, a real-time label free cell dynamic analyzer launched by the company, is a computer-controlled, fully automatic, long-term real-time monitoring instrument for physiological parameters of the cell layer. It can output important indicators of transmembrane resistance (TEER) in real time, and monitor 6/24/48/72/96 samples at once. Especially suitable for research on the characteristics of cell barriers (digestive tract, respiratory tract, blood-brain barrier), drug transport, nanomedicine development, central nervous system diseases, tumors, and other fields.

Technical principles:
A selective cell barrier is formed between epidermal or endothelial cells through tight connections. The cell barrier not only controls the diffusion permeability of various solutes in adjacent intercellular spaces, but also regulates the transport of substances across cells. The existence of cell barriers not only protects the body from harmful substances, but also limits the entry of therapeutic drugs.
The permeability of the cell barrier can be reflected by transmembrane resistance (TEER), and the relationship between the permeability of the cell barrier and transmembrane resistance (TEER) is that the higher the permeability, the lower the TEER, and vice versa.

The cellZscope cell module is placed in a standard cell culture incubator for real-time dynamic monitoring, which can monitor the dynamic biological behavior changes of cells from seconds to weeks.
