High resolution proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry BTrap
The high-resolution proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (BTrap) launched is a mass spectrometry device designed and produced for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This technology is suitable for characterizing volatile organic components in the atmosphere and can also be used for atmospheric analysis. Having abundant precursors such as H3O+, O2+, O -, CF3+, etc., it meets the analysis needs of customers for alkanes, aromatics, alcohols, aldehydes, acids, amines, nitrogen oxides, fluorinated and chlorinated compounds.
By miniaturizing advanced FT-ICR MS, not only does it greatly save equipment costs and reduce weight, but it also retains the quality resolution and stability of FT-ICR MS. Using PTR "soft" ionization technology, compared with other ionization techniques such as EI, it produces fewer fragment peaks, stronger molecular ion peaks, and a relatively simple mass spectrum, making it easy to analyze. By combining these two technologies, BTrap has many advantages such as high quality resolution, high precision and stability, low ion fragmentation, high sensitivity, and low detection limit. It can be used for online monitoring and analysis of trace gas components, adapting to various complex experimental climates and environments.
